Protocol Labs is seeking a dynamic Cohort Program Manager for Launchpad with a proven track record of building and leading best-in-class learning & development programs.

This individual will be a strategic partner to Protocol Labs’ executive leadership, responsible for administering cohorts, coaching bootcampers, interviewing and matching technical talent with the right teams and opportunities, and representing Launchpad as an advocate for developers.

About the PL Launchpad Program

The PL Launchpad Program is a hiring & onboarding program designed for people who are passionate about accelerating their growth in the Web3 space. Launchpad aims to hire entrepreneurial leaders from diverse development & operations backgrounds into a six-week, full-time onboarding program designed to train, develop, and team-match talent with Web3 opportunities across the Protocol Labs Network. Launchpad is designed for people who are passionate about joining the Web3 community, learning about the PL Network tools and protocols, and applying their skills to open-source Web3 initiatives that will be deployed worldwide & ultimately reshape our world.

About the Role

  • Oversee and coordinate the PL Network Launchpad programs that enhance the capabilities of new contributors through continued education and skills training, with the intention of enabling them to quickly ramp up, maintain quality and efficiency in their work, match to new roles/work opportunities and build community through mentorship and knowledge sharing
  • Create, source, and organize various educational materials, live trainings, events/cohorts and mini projects to implement PL Network Launchpad and related programs
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the launchpad program - and make adjustments as necessary
  • Interview Launchpad cadets and run team-matching programs across the Protocol Labs Network to find cohort participants their best fit role
  • Onboard technical candidates into the PL Launchpad Program (unmatched cadet hiring)
  • Maintain and improve documentation, demos, and updates from the Launchpad Program to the wider PL Network
  • Organize and facilitate community events around Launchpad cohorts, such as team “colo” weeks in various locations around the world!

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of program/project management experience, preferably in the tech industry
  • Experience in learning and development or leading team-wide training 
  • Ability to create strong community bonds between new hires
  • Ability to drive programs and execute on projects independently and resourcefully
  • Ability to manage and gain insights from data, and action on learnings
  • Strong Google Suite skills
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing internal and external environments, and working through decisions without complete information
  • Excellent communication facilitation, and presentation skills; the ability to translate data for different audiences
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment, and possess the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with all levels of the organization, achieve credibility, and have the ability to influence outcomes
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with your own work and reviewing the work of others

Bonus Points

  • Experience with tech-bootcamp or training programs
  • Past experience in remote and distributed companies
  • Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, OSS and decentralized work
  • Working knowledge of Github, Notion, and Discord
