Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing:

- Identify and capture quality investment opportunities within the web3 ecosystem (founders, investors, accelerators, etc.)
- Update internal deal system and maintain project materials repository

Due Diligence:

- Facilitate and manage communication with founders from first contact to deal closure
- Prepare investment memos and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to investment team

Portfolio Support:

- Maintain close relationships with portfolio companies, stay up-to-date on their progress, and provide high-impact support as needed
- Monitor token generation events and assist in formulating exit strategies

Thought Leadership:

- Keep the team up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments and conduct in-depth research on L1s, L2s, web3 social and gaming, existing and upcoming dApps, and more
- Prepare and distribute twitter threads and research reports internally and externally

Additional Tasks as Needed:

- Assist the team with recruitment, team events, operations, and other tasks as needed

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher, technical background (e.g. computer science) a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in venture investment, research, or related field in the crypto space
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and passion for the web3 ecosystem
- Good understanding and knowledge of L1/L2 chains, infrastructure, DeFi, NFT, gaming, creator economy, etc.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to form independent opinions
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with founders, investors, and partners

Deal Analyst / Associate (Full Time, Remote, APAC)

Responsibilities
● Develop a personalized research process that involves qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify the latest industry trends, market changes, and new innovations across blockchain industry
● Conduct deep-dive research on topics like L1s, L2s, monolithic vs. modular blockchains, existing and new dApps, and much more
● Communicate with our internal and external audience through emails, telegram channels, blog posts,
twitter threads, and other mediums about the state of the crypto industry and where it is moving
● Work with data using Excel/SQL/Python/etc to form analyses and explain them in charts and other data
visualizations that are digestible
● Wear many hats, contribute to many projects, and adapt to the needs of the team at a fast growing
organization
● Working with the investment team on due diligence of prospective investments

Qualifications
● Undergraduate degree or above with 0-4 years of experience; technical background (e.g. computer
science, electrical engineering) strongly preferred; professional proficiency in English is a must
● Solid understanding of crypto-economics and blockchain technologies generally
● Prior venture capital or blockchain research experience preferred
● Ability to swiftly understand complex topics and work independently in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to write long-form reports and short-form threads about different crypto narratives and ideas in a way that is clear, accurate, and can be understood by the general public
● Capable of working with data using SQL or Python, or the desire to learn
● Familiarity with different tools and data sources as part of the research process
● Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new topics and be dynamic in a rapidly evolving space

Research Analyst/Associate (Full Time, Remote, APAC)

Responsibilities
● Support portfolio companies and founders on various functional support areas, including hiring, GTM,
finance, and product development
● Maintain internal meeting notes and records of portfolio companies latest developments needs
● Advise project on GTM strategies and execute GTM plans including prepare news articles, community
building, KOL and media relations
● Track token vesting and listing schedule and liaison with Fund Admin on monthly holdings reporting
● Work with data using Excel/SQL/Python/etc to form analyses and explain them in charts and other data
visualizations that are digestible
● Maintain and build relationship with builder communities, service providers (news agency, KOLs,
exchanges etc)
● Ability and willingness to travel extensively in several Asia countries including China, Singapore,
Vietnam, etc
● Report in a clear, concise and result driven manner directly to the Head of Platform

Qualifications
● Undergraduate degree or above with 0-4 years of experience; professional proficiency in English is a
must
● Prior experience on web3 go-to-market and user growth is a must
● Solid understanding of crypto-economics and blockchain technologies
● Prior venture capital, consulting, or business development experience preferred
● Ability to swiftly understand complex topics and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Support portfolio companies and founders on various functional support areas, including hiring, GTM, finance, and product development

Portfolio Management Analyst/Associate

Responsibilities
● Manage day-to-day fund operations with different vendors and service providers (banks, custodians,
fund administrators, legal advisors, tax advisors, auditors, etc), gaining exposure to all facets of the fund
● Manage regulatory filings, annual tax and audit activities, and maintain internal databases on all
relevant operational files and records
● Assist and develop investor relations activities such as onboarding, ad-hoc email campaign and quarterly
newsletters
● Identify and lead projects to streamline internal processes and gain operational efficiencies
● Report in a clear, concise and result driven manner directly to the COO and General Partner of the firm
● Develop relationships with portfolio companies to identify and support their on-going growth needs
● Manage expenses and make prompt payment of bills and employee reimbursements

Qualifications
● Undergraduate degree (BS / BA in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or a similar major);
professional proficiency in English is a must
● 2 years plus experience and proven track record in finance or operations roles in the financial services or
professional service (consulting, big four accounting, etc) industries
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a founder mind-set
● Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline in a fast pace environment
● Strong sense of ownership and be accountable for tasks and projects end-to-end
● Exceptional attention to details and very well organized
● Comfort multitasking and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments
● Knowledge of Google Workplace Suite and other office management tools like Notion, Monday, etc
● Knowledge of Photoshop and other design tools are a plus
